You hesitate. Just a moment ago you found zero flaws in your plan. According to your reliable dreams, everything went perfectly so what seems to be the problem? It’s not reality. It was only a dream. And the thing about dreams is that only you get to see them. But what good is a dream if it will never come to fruition. Hesitation only prolongs your dreams becoming a reality. When you hesitate you don’t take action. When you don’t take action, you guarantee your new idea never standing a chance at becoming reality.
Take action. Any action. Just start. Even as simple as sending an email or signing up for a course. Like an airplane taking off, gaining momentum is key.
You make assumptions about your new business venture, assuming that it is a horrible idea, that nobody will like it or that it will fail. When you make assumptions you are creating a story that isn’t real but in your mind, you believe them and so for you, they ARE real. Like a child and it’s imaginary friend, it will be hard to convince you otherwise. The only thing that’s real is the Present moment. Nobody can foresee the future, so don’t create one in your mind. Take action and let life create a reality for you.
Being present in the moment. The moment that you are in is the only true story.
Ignore everyone and listen to your Intuition. Your Intuition is your North Star. How many times have you come across a missed opportunity since you ignored your intuition, whether it was speaking up at a meeting or taking a chance on a new business opportunity? As an Entrepreneur, there is no worse feeling seeing a business executing on an idea you had only because you ignored your Gut and never took action. You probably hesitated and made assumptions that it was a silly idea. Your Intuition is that moment between your Soul guiding you in the right direction and your Mind convincing you otherwise. Those seconds before your emotions taking over. Learn to fine-tune it and trust it.
“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails.” – Mark Twain
Be present in the moment. Take a break from your current project to help you quiet your mind. Setting your Ego aside is a crucial component to letting your Intuition take over.
